We'd rather let our clients do the talking. Straight, unedited feedback from the people whose homes we've worked on.
As investors we need to keep costs in check. They gave us the number in writing and held to it. The finish looked good, exactly what you want for new tenants.
Bà 85 tuổi. Nhà mới vài năm. Các con thêm phòng. Phòng mới y chang nhà cũ. Không ai biết là mở rộng. Làm khéo. Bà hài lòng.
I am 85. New house few years. Added room. Looks exactly like old house. Nobody knows it is extension. Very skillful. Very satisfied.
I relocated interstate with two dogs and never thought a new home could feel like me, but they took me under their wing, kept me updated the whole way, and let me customise everything from the flooring to the kitchen layout. Genuine, passionate, and a pleasure to deal with.
Before gutted. had a name, the same team built the Macpherson Street townhomes in Footscray. Three homes designed to feel personal from the very first conversation. This is one of those stories.
When Michael relocated from Adelaide to Melbourne, his requirement was clear: a home that felt like him. Antique furniture, two dogs, a love of Japanese design, and close to the city without paying city prices. Finding that in the inner west wasn't straightforward.
“I like character homes as I have a lot of antique furniture. It was important to find something that would reflect my personality.”
Flexibility made the difference. Michael's dogs meant Tasmanian oak flooring wasn't going to work, so it was switched to bamboo. His love of entertaining meant the kitchen needed rethinking too. The sink was repositioned to create a breakfast bench where guests could sit while he cooked.
“The team came across as very genuine and passionate. We settled on an arrangement that suited both of us, and I was able to customise everything to suit my requirements.”
Throughout the build, Michael had open access to visit on weekends and received regular photo updates, which mattered for a client who had just relocated interstate and was navigating a new city at the same time.
“Relocating to another state is already stressful, let alone buying a new home. It was comforting to have somebody take me under their wing the way they did.”
“I was worried a new home wouldn't suit my design style, but by being able to customise it, I've made it work quite well.”
Michael moved into a two-bedroom townhome in Footscray. Japanese-inspired pieces filled the rooms. The outdoor area became a zen garden. The bamboo floors held up. He rode 10km to work each morning along the Maribyrnong River.
“Where else can you live 8kms from the city and actually afford something?”
